So on my way home from grabbing a movie for my mom, I see a homeless person with a sign that says "I'm homeless and hungry" or something like that. I decided to give him some small bags of chips that I have left in my car. I typically have snacks in my car for the days I have school so I don't end up eating out and spending money. So I roll down my window and say, "hey, I don't have much, but...." and i realized that he was on his cellphone. I gave him the chips anyways and he says "Thank you. God bless you."
I was a little upset that he decided that having a cellphone was more important than buying food. But then again, maybe someone gave it to him? I don't know. I tried to do the right thing so I guess that's what counts....
The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.
